About DoingFlorida

DoingFlorida was originally launched in 2006, and began as a place for UK fans of the central Florida attractions to meet and swap stories, memories, information and tips.

The site has since evolved and grown, and now has visitors from around the world checking up on our daily news from the Florida theme parks and attractions. DoingFlorida is entirely independent and is not affiliated with any of the Florida theme parks.

On a practical level, we hope that the daily news service - together with advice and tips from other members - will help with planning a fantastic holiday. On a less practical level, we hope it provides a great way to keep up-to-date and a place to chat/discuss with other Florida addicts during those nightmare periods between holidays when real life can sometimes start to take over!

Despite the growth we have experienced, and our plans for the future, our simple objectives remain the same:

  • To provide daily news from the Florida parks and attractions, every single day of the year.
  • To provide open, friendly discussion areas.
  • To provide a central place for useful hints and tips for visitors to Florida.
  • To bring the memories back!

We are always very grateful for feedback and contributions from members and visitors to the site - if you have any suggestions for items to include please contact us. All mails are read and wherever possible will receive a reply within 24 hours - usually much more quickly - but please bear with us during the busiest times.
